UNICO DEVELOPERS is a boutique real estate development company based in Aventura, Florida. Our expertise is to create value through development and investment opportunities. Our strength consists in taking advantage of the fluctuations of the real estate cycles, investing in markets that are going through the Recovery and Expansion Phase and creating an investment strategy to benefit from them. We develop these projects using equity from private investors and bank financing, choosing the right land for a new construction project or buying existing assets at opportunistic prices. From there on, we take care of the design concept, planning, financing, construction, management and sale of the assets when they are completed.

Our Principal, Fernando Levy Hara, is a researcher on Real Estate Cycles. He graduated from the Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate (AMDP) at Harvard University, teaches Real Estate Cycles in that institution as a guest lecturer and wrote a book in Spanish about this topic called “The Art of Financing Real Estate Projects”.
Fernando Levy Hara is a Principal and Co-Founder of Aventura, FL-based Unico Developers. He serves as Chief Executive Officer and also acts as the Broker and Founder of Unico Realty, LLC—one of three divisions under the Unico umbrella. His previous ventures include co-founding McKafka Development Group in 2009, founding G&D Developers in 2001, and working as a designer and developer in Buenos Aires from 1988 to 2001. Levy Hara has successfully developed or rehabilitated more than 4 million square feet of commercial and residential real estate.
He is a frequent contributor and guest columnist for various real estate publications and is regularly invited to speak on expert panels and at industry seminars. In 2010, he co-authored the book El Arte de Financiar Proyectos Inmobiliarios (The Art of Financing Real Estate Projects), published in Argentina by Bienes Raíces Ediciones. In 2022 he wrote Ciclos Economicos Y Desarollo inmobiliario (Economic Cycles and Real Estate Development)
which has been translated in multiples languages.
Levy Hara currently serves as an Executive Board Member at the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center. He is also an instructor of International Deal Negotiation and International Real Estate Strategies at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, teaching not only in Cambridge, MA but also in international hubs such as Dubai and across the United States. He is a member of the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board.
Jaqui Levy Hara is the Chief Financial Officer at Unico Developers, where she leads the Accounting Department as well as the Property Management and Leasing teams. With advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Rent Manager, she ensures efficient, transparent reporting and operations for over 120 investors. Jaqui also oversees tax coordination, banking relationships, and company compliance, building a foundation of trust and reliability across Unico’s investor network.
She holds a Degree in Language Therapy from the University of Buenos Aires and earned a Certificate in Accounting from Miami Dade College in 2018. Jaqui is also a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and holds certifications in Access Bars and Reiki. Through her energy healing practice, she brings a unique, holistic perspective to her leadership—fostering clarity, empathy, and well-being in both her personal and professional relationships.
